Abram Paul Snader, Sr., 82, of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at ManorCare where he had resided for the past six months. Born and raised in Ephrata, he was the son of the late Royer M. and Marie Shaner Snader.
Better known to his family and friends as Paul, he worked for many years as a welder for various area companies. He retired in 2004 after 20 years of service from the Highland Tank Company where he worked as the plant production manager. After retirement, he worked at the Manheim Auto Auction. Paul was an avid hunter in all seasons both locally and his favorite area in Potter county. In addition, he enjoyed football, especially rooting for the Steelers, and Nascar.
He is survived by his children, Deborah A. Young; Douglas A. Snader and his wife Joy; Pamela A. Snader; Abram P. "Abe" Snader, Jr. and his wife Diane; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings who grew up and lived in the Ephrata and Denver area, brothers Harold, Calvin, Robert Snader, and sister Mary Weitzel.
At Paul's request, there will be no formal services.
