Dawn M. Kilhefner

Dawn M. Kilhefner, 63, of Columbia passed away at her residence on May 11, 2017. She was born in Lancaster to Charles Wood, Jr. and the late Virginia Oehme and was a lifelong resident of this area. Dawn graduated from McCaskey High School with the Class of 1972. For many years, she worked for Head Start of Lancaster County and enjoyed the impact she had on the children she taught. Dawn was a loving mother and grandmother who in her spare time enjoyed playing bingo.

Dawn leaves behind her children, Christine Kilhefner of Columbia, Timothy, husband of Jennifer Kilhefner of Columbia; her six grandchildren, Riley Kilhefner, Elijah Kilhefner, Elissa Kilhefner, Eliess Kilhefner, Isabelle Nash, Sophie Nash. She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia.

In accordance with her wishes, Dawn will be cremated. A celebration of Dawn's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Caring Hospice Services, 101 Good Dr., Lancaster, PA 17603. Arrangements by the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Columbia/Landisville.
