Vincent Moore, Jr., 82, of Manheim passed away on August 4, 2017. He was born
in Columbia to the late Richard, Sr. and Marie Moore Edge. He proudly served in
The United States Army and following his service, he spent fifty years working in
sales. Richard was a lover of music, especially jazz, and performed as the
drummer and singer of his band The Continentals. He was member of the United
States Power Squadron and active in boating. He enjoyed taking vacations and
spending time with family and also was a fan of John Wayne movies.
leaves behind his wife of sixty-three years, Darlene Moore of Manheim; his son,
Todd, husband of Melissa Moore of Lebanon; his daughter, Tara Richards of
Centerville; four grandchildren, Chase Richards, Olivia Richards, Trevor Moore,
T.J. (Todd) Moore; two siblings, Robert, husband of Sue Moore of Lancaster,
Jeanette, wife of Larry Kise of Columbia; several nieces and nephews and large
extended family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three
celebration of Richard's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August
10, 2017 at the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, 519 Walnut Street, Columbia PA
17512. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
