Robert E. Farber



Robert E. Farber

Robert E. Farber entered into rest on December 3, 2017 in his 80th year. Born in New York City, he was the elder son of the late Charles and Helen Shapiro Farber. He was the husband of Kim Herr Farber to whom he had been married for 55 years. Rob was a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, Class of 1960 where he was a member of Pi Lambda Phi fraternity and Alpha Kappa Psi business honorary fraternity. He proudly served his country for six years in the Air National Guard. A successful business man, he was a retired vice-president and manager of the Lancaster stock and brokerage office of Legg Mason.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Dr. Gregory Farber, his daughter Diana Farber Whittle, his grandson Tyler Charles Whittle, his son-in-law Marcus James, his brother Dr. Paul Farber, and his sister-in-law Dr. Vreneli Farber.

Services for Robert Farber will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 6th, 2017 at the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, 247 Main Street, Landisville, PA 17538. Visitors may call one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Organization for Autism Research, 2000 N. 14th Street, Suite 240, Arlington, VA 22201.
