Raymond N. Donley, Jr.

Raymond N. Donley, Jr., 78, of Mount Joy, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018 at the Masonic Village of Elizabethtown. He was the husband of the late Ruth Ann Pickell Donley, with whom he shared 39 years of marriage, until her death on December 16, 2017. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Raymond N., Sr. and Evelyn Byers Donley. He was a retired truck driver having been employed by various trucking firms.

He was a member of the L.C.B.C., Manheim and the L.O.O.M Lodge 569, Elizabethtown. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an accomplished pool player, competing in several area pool leagues. Raymond especially enjoyed the companionship of his poodle, "Aero."

He is survived by his son, Raymond N. Donley, III and his wife Linda; grandchildren, April, Chad and Amy and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held from the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc., 519 Walnut St., Columbia, PA on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Mr. Glen Burkart, presiding. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday one hour prior to the service. At the request of the family, please omit flowers.
