Ralph Wayne Kreiser

Ralph Wayne Kreiser

It is with great sadness that the family of Ralph Wayne Kreiser announces that he went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday March 9th, 2018, at the age of 80. Ralph will be lovingly remembered by his wife, and best friend, of 62 years, Thelma Mann Kreiser, along with his children David, husband of Mary Frances, James, husband of Kathryn, and Lynn, wife of Michael McCowan. He will be fondly remembered by his 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and his sister Gladys. Ralph was predeceased by his parents, Ralph E. and Helen (Bolander) Kreiser, his siblings Janet, Jean, Hilda, Audrey, Elmer, Edward, and Helen, as well as his grandchild Jason.

Born April 20th, 1937, Ralph was a proud native of Columbia, Pennsylvania. Following his retirement as a manager for Armstrong World Industries, Ralph began his second career at the Lancaster Office of Aging. He also worked as the Market Manager for the Columbia Market House and as a tipstaff for the York County Court of Common Pleas. Additionally, Ralph was a volunteer at the Columbia Pregnancy Center and the Susquehanna Visitor's Center.

With his teacher's heart, he loved teaching Sunday school and serving as the president of the Official Church Board at Grace Evangelical Congregational Church in Columbia. Following his move to Wrightsville, and then to Mount Joy, Ralph became a member of Glossbrenner United Methodist Church. Ralph enjoyed giving back to others as a vital, contributing part of his community, where his love for the Lord radiated to those he met. He was most proud of his family and will be dearly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at Glossbrenner United Methodist Church, 713 Church Street, Mount Joy, PA 17552 on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM; officiated by The Rev. Tim Anderman. Family and friends may view at the church on Thursday from 9:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M.

At the family's request, kindly omit flowers. If desired, contributions in Ralph's memory may be made to the Glossbrenner Church elevator fund at the above address, or to the Columbia Pregnancy Center, 501 Walnut Street, Columbia, PA 17512.

Arrangements by the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home Inc., 519 Walnut Street, Columbia, PA 17512.
