Harry G. Fisher, Sr.

Harry G. Fisher, Sr., 90, of Mount Joy, passed away on April 6, 2018 at Hospice & Community Care. He was the husband of the late, Vivian Fisher for 37 years before her passing in 2011. Born in Wrightsville, York County, he was the son of the late Thomas and Nettie Fisher. Harry worked in a sidmill and also was a welder at Penncast, where eventually he retired from. Following his retirement, he worked for Laidlaw, First Student as a bus monitor. Harry was active in the Elizabethtown Area Senior Center.

Surviving are his children: Harry Fisher, Jr. married to Sue Fisher, Mount Joy; Bonnie married to Don Torrence, Elizabethtown; Linda married to Rod Plowman, Wrightsville; Crystal Fisher at home; and Michelle Hale, Wilmington, DE; his nephew, John Thomas of Columbia, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his children: Donald Fisher, Terry Fisher and Thomas Clinton.

At his request, Harry will be cremated and he will be entombed with his late wife at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Columbia at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018.
